Do you talk to kids at school? If so, this book is for you. Whether we talk to big kids or little kids, we all have one thing that connects us. We all love children.

“At the very heart of education is connection.”

Building a culture of connection requires strong communication skills. This book will give educators these skills, along with tools, strategies, and templates to create a culture of connection in schools.

Meet Erika & Tiffany

We became educators many miles apart, both with a genuine desire to make the world a better place. We were lucky enough to connect professionally just over a decade ago as students, writers, and educators in the same administrative licensure program. We were both moms of young children, working as dedicated teachers, and discovered we had the same vision for education. We were thrilled when we found administrative jobs within the same district. As we continued to grow together in the profession, we would often share stories, compare notes, and problem solve together. This collaboration led us to write the book and start the movement: Connecting Through Conversation.

"What you say and how you say it matter."

"A student's behavior is what they did, not who they are."

"After a Connected Conversation, everything becomes easier."
